Dr. Lavang Lee graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from The University of Texas at Austin and received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from The University of the Incarnate Word - Rosenberg School of Optometry. She completed her clinical rotation at Sharp Eye Consultant where she received special training in the diagnosis and treatment of ocular diseases. Additionally, she completed her externship rotation at The Contact Lens Institute of San Antonio where she was extensively trained in fitting specialty contact lenses. During her optometric education, she received the Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care from the American Academy of Optometry and was the national winner of a case report competition hosted by Alcon.
Dr. Lee is a certified Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, licensed to treat a variety of ocular conditions including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and corneal pathologies. She is proficient in foreign body removal and fitting a variety of specialty contact lenses to treat ocular surface conditions.
She currently sees patients in the Sugar Land, Southwest and Angleton offices alongside Dr. Michael R. Koop MD.
